Alien Energy is an energy research project conducting a comparative analysis of the impact and effects of renewable energy initiatives at several sites within Europe (Denmark, Iceland and the Orkney Islands, Scotland). Drawing its inspiration from the intersection of Anthropology and Science and Technology Studies, the research project focuses on how green energy creates and reconfigures relations between humans, technologies and nature at particular project sites.
