At the 2014 DASTS Conference held at RUC: “Enacting Futures“, Louise Torntoft Jensen will give a presentation entitled practices of valuation within marine energy development in Denmark. Drawing on ethnographic work, it will consist of preliminary and empirical reflections and takes the shape of drawing together a few episodes from re-worked field-notes; zooming in on what is made to count as ‘good’ entrepreneurship and partnership in differing configurations and set-ups.
Inspiration is drawn from recent invitations within Science and Technology Studies (STS) that encourage the study of sites and practices of valuation (e.g. valuationstudies.liu.se ).
